Currently, police snap photos of the front seat occupants of speeding cars as well as the license plates. The photo, along with a ticket is sent to the motorist. According to a Milan newspaper, a Senator's wife opened the mail and found a photo of her husband and another woman. The proposed law would require police to send photos to the local station house rather than mailing them to offender's homes.
